House cleaning and pets
Some would give you this advice: if you want to keep your house clean, don't bring in pets and children. This maybe the loner's way of life but for people like us that love pets and simply adore children, having them inside our home help liven up the atmosphere. There are ways to keep your house clean despite having pets around. House cleaning and pets can go hand-in-hand all you need are a couple of good cleaning tips under your knowledge belt.
One of tricks of the trade when you pets is to act quickly. If you pet made a mess, get down and clean it quickly. As you keep delaying the cleaning process, the mess will continue to react to the surface of the carpet, floor or furniture causing stains to set in. Removing that stubborn stain will make your harder later on.
Do not use ammonia-based cleaners especially if you're going to clean urine or feces left by your pet. The combination puts off this really unpleasant smell which lingers long after the mess is gone. Resort to the non-toxic cleaning stuff instead. There already quite a number of products available in the market at your disposal. Plus, you won't really know what toxic residue might be left behind when you use the chemical based products. You might end up endangering the lives of your pets.
Do some focused cleaning around the house. If you noticed your pet lingers on a specific part of the house, go there and clean that area regularly to keep off any bad smell. This includes cleaning the litter box, dog house or pet cages. Also, don't forget to clean the feeding dishes and the areas around them as well. It would be better to resort to stainless steel feeding dish so you would have an easier time cleaning them.
One of the problems you will encounter is hair. When you have pets don't be surprised to find hair all over the place. Your pets will occasionally shed off hair and these can easily accumulate and can cause allergic reactions to some. Probably the best way to cope with this problem is to vacuum on a much regular basis. You might need to vacuum the furniture and rugs as well. You can also give your pet a bath more regularly.
Housetraining your pets would be a very good idea as well. If you could toilet-train your pets then it would save you some time cleaning the possible mess. House cleaning doesn't need to suffer when you have pets, there's just a little added responsibility which I'm sure you can handle.
